  • This option will allow you to place very basic components regarding the circuits design i.e.
  • I will list the use of all these components shortly, lets now start with the first component named place part as shown in the figure below,
  • The highlighted portion in the above figure shows the components that we will be using in the later tutorials where we will be working with extensive circuits and checking their response under different circumstances.
  • After creating the folder, the PSPICE window will open the schematic as shown in the figure below, This will create a folder of your entered name in your selected folder of your selected type.
  • Select the folder of your choice and click ok.
  • Click the browse button it will ask you to select the destination folder. For typing the address of the folder a shortcut is available to browse you desired destination folder.
  • In the location labeled block you have to type the address of the folder in which you want to save the project you will built later.
  • Check the type from the list as I have checked the schematic in the above figure.
  • Write the name of the project which you want to assign to the project you want to create in the block labeled as Name, as shown in the figure above.
  • This will open a window asking you to set the name and the destination folder of the project you are going to create as shown in the figure below,.
  • We have to create a project first in order to draw the circuit, for that purpose click on the file at the top of the schematic window, a drop down will appear from that dropdown select new and from the sub dropdown menu select project as shown in the figure below,
  • Click on the option as shown in the figure above, this will open the window for drawing the schematics of the required circuit.
  • Open the search bar on your system or press the search key on your key board and type Capture as shown in the figure below,
  • If we are willing to draw a simple circuit and test it virtually the first step here is to open the schematic.

In last tutorial ,we have seen how to download and install PSpice software. Explanation of using the basic components along with their uses in circuit development is explained. I will explain the use of PSPICE schematic including how to create a project how to use basic components that are need to design the very basic electrical circuit, and how to add libraries in the components part. Thanks for your understanding. In this tutorial I will explain how to use PSPICE to design a circuit for the first time. There was no way to migrate so all users are required to register again.

The old software that ran the site was obsolete and could not run on that version without corrupting the site.

The major issue was the provider required an upgrade to the central servers to newer version of PHP control code. Please note: Users that do not validate their accounts will be deleted 3 days after initial registration.Īll current past and present members of the site MUST re-register as there was no way for a proper upgrade from the very old version software that ran the site to what is in use today. It is always up to the user to verify the results, but it has been demonstrated that there are very powerful people who do excellent work to create parts that are needed. Users are welcome to download/upload and share any of these things among the community. While the libraries are fairly extensive, it has been found that a lot of older parts, and many newer parts, are just simply not available. This is the place to find components, models, and footprint of parts that are not found in any of the databases from NI. I have kept the most of the old opening statement with grammatical fixes for people to realize it's the same site but updated to the latest and greatest server software. All downloads are in place, a new forum is in place (all old data has been lost), and all previous articles restored. All the modules and downloaders have been updated and restored as close as possible to the original configuration from the old site software. I have completely retooled the entire site from very old server software to the latest and greatest open source has to offer. I would like to thank everyone for their time and support of this site past, present and future. Welcome all National Instrument Circuit Design Suite Admins and Users.
